Quattro!
I think I saw the Parlor Mob. And Daniella Cotton. And...? I did meet Thurston Moore for a brief moment at Emo’s Lounge. And Pete Townsend was much more incredible than I would’ve ever given him credit for. I keep forgetting he’s a guitarist.
Anyway, Kyle has a better blog entry on the whole SXSW shasta-rificness. This year was more about the experience for me, I guess. I didn’t feel like writing about it.
I’m also still recovering. 5 nights. 4 days. Posting might be light. It’s not personal, blog.
Really.

Mr. Brain He Wants a Song
The new issue of the TX State sponsored MFA lit journal, Front Porch, is out. New fiction, poetry, readings, audio, video and a bonus essay from Barry Hannah.
I’m the web guy for this and one of the founders. Toot, toot, horn. Toot, toot. Actually, we have another web guy who I’m supposed to be training, but he’s pretty much grabbed the bull by the horns and gored himself, so I’m sleeping easy. There should be an all new fantastico submission system in place soon which will make things easier for those who come after us. Remember the fallen, brothers and sisters.
